Our dear governor is wanting to get his wonderful "Fair Tax" (well, we call it a very progressive tax) voted in. We have reached out to get a speaker or at least material to talk about this at our meeting, so you will know what this is all about...
There is work being done behind the scenes regarding New Illinois (= separating from Chicago). The group that has been working on this will meet before our meeting and will be able to give you some information on their activities.
