This weekend we will have the Veterans Day Parade in Quincy on this coming Saturday, 5 November. The Quincy Tea Party has an entry. If you wish to walk with us, join us at #50. The Adams County Republican Party also has an entry. They are #60. Please remember, this is to THANK our veterans only, not a political event! We may HAND OUT candy and other things. Enter Maine Street from 24th Street heading West. Lineup will start at 8:15 AM, and the parade will officially start at 10 AM. I am so very happy that, even though there is much construction going on at the Illinois Veterans Home, we will have the parade there as well. The start is 1 PM. The American Red Cross is offering free lunch at Smith Hall at the Home.
